Crystal Energy - The Hidden Knowledge.
Published in Kindred Spirit magazine in the UK in 2010
There are many people that are attracted to crystals, many feel an affinity with them and they play an important part in the Mind Body Spirit movement. However, there are also many people who feel differently, some folk look at the subject of crystals and stones as a little too 'airy fairy' and hold a sceptical opinion as to whether there really is anything truly therapeutic in a 'lump of stone' other than its genuine aesthetic appeal. This information may interest both groups of people.
My wife Nat has an extraordinary profound clairvoyant ability to see subtle reality, and has done so for more than twenty years. We used to own a crystal shop and over seven years we have researched the hidden causes of how and why crystals and minerals have therapeutic qualities.
It all started when Nat looked at some polished tumble-stones, she could see unusual energetic things about them - some had spirals of various coloured energy extending from them, others had striating channels, others again seemed to have no more than a 'fuzzy cloud'. Stranger still were those stones that had an energy channel at one end and nothing happening elsewhere but - if these were turned, the channel would dissipate and vanish and then reappear again from a new area - but pointing in the same original direction, just like a compass. None of these things seemed to make any sense and it was this confusion that intrigued Nat to go deeper into the mystery.
The fact that many polished stones had such varied forms of energy expression was further compounded when the natural, unpolished versions were examined next to them. Frequently, the natural stones would exhibit significantly more energy than their polished counterparts. Agate and Angelite when polished were seemingly depleted and yet Amber and Lapis Lazuli had no discernable change at all. Throughout the sixty stones Nat examined, she found wide variations in energy expression but on the whole it seemed that many crystals and minerals would have less energy after being polished, so she looked into at this situation. She drew diagrams of what she saw with each stone and gradually created a large collection of pictures and drawings.
She realized there were two types of energy channels present with all minerals that connected 'the outside world' with them. The first were 'entrance channels' that allowed surrounding subtle energies into the mineral and then it would 'do something' with these before emitting them outside again through 'exit channels'. It seemed that the polishing process had a detrimental effect to some minerals and this was because either the 'entrance' or the 'exit' channels were partly or wholly damaged.
Life on our planet Earth is not restricted just to our material world; there are as much, if not more varied forms of life on the subtle levels as upon this physical dimension. We can acknowledge life in our Human, Animal and Vegetable Kingdoms, but what of Minerals; are they really 'alive'? There are some schools of thought that suggest minerals are very much alive, but that we may be unequipped or insufficiently developed to appreciate this. The only route that made any sense to Nat with what she was observing was that minerals are indeed alive; but not in any physical sense that man can ordinarily perceive. Each and every stone, crystal or rock, has a 'spark of life' or 'Monad' within it. However let's evaluate that statement, these 'Monads' are primeval and extremely primitive, they certainly cannot possess any form of intelligence. They only appear to perform minimal action; to connect with, slightly change and then emit different forms of surrounding subtle energies of the local environment and that is all.
The whole Mineral Kingdom is alive in a constant progression of evolution, it can be understood to have seven 'evolutionary groups' of mineral energy types, separated only by what they 'do' to other local types of energy. There are 'Attractors', 'Balancers', 'Breakers', 'Reflectors', 'Capacitors', Transformers' and 'Energizers'. Each group of minerals have Monads that act in a certain way upon surrounding, subtle energies and with every miniscule 'change' they make to these, so the Monads very, very slowly evolve.
The reason why some crystals and stones have 'energetic damage' or seemingly no damage after polishing treatment is relative to which evolutionary group they belong to. Agate and Angelite, mentioned earlier do seem to have permanently damaged exit channels after being polished and both of them belong to the first group of Attractors. Amber and Lapis Lazuli on the other hand, seem to either have no damage at all or else they recover very rapidly and both are members of the highest group; the Energizers. As a general rule, the higher the group the stone belongs to, the less effect polishing seems to have on it.
We knew that the chakras are a cornerstone of many energetic healing subjects and this is particularly so with crystal healing. Many folk link crystals or minerals with certain chakras and it is usually colour that binds the association. So Nat began to study chakras. To begin with she looked at the seven main ones, both at their appearance 'externally' and what was going on 'inside' them too. They did have a conical, funnel like shape that extended from the body and they did appear to move or 'turn' - just as many people believe.
However on closer examination, she found each chakra had several different channels of energy travelling to and from various organs and systems of the body. Inside each of these channels there are 'sub-channels' and inside these, there are 'threads' and deeper still, inside these threads are extremely fine energy 'micro-threads'. Each micro-thread attends individual cells of a given part of the body at any one time, supplying vitality and function programming. So at one level of reality you can imagine a vast network of billions upon billions of strands of light - each important to its own task.
Chakras were complex in appearance but after a while she realized that they all perform the same basic function, to maintain the health of the region of the body to which they are connected. Chakras did have colour too but their colours did not remain fixed; they changed depending on the colour of the dominant energy channel at any one time. Therefore for example the Throat Chakra might indeed be blue at a given moment but that at another time it could equally be light purple and even orange in colour. Over time, Nat has observed many different people's chakras and concluded that there is no fixed pattern of colours for everyone because we each experience different patterns of health.
We began to look for any correspondence between the mineral energies and those of chakras. After some weeks Nat could see there were some mineral energies that would engage with the energies of chakras but interestingly, each mineral would only 'connect' with the energies of a single chakra. Some of these connections did follow the associations of popular belief but others did not.
After a while, she noticed something significant; each of the stones whose energy engaged with one chakra all had a similar strength of vibration. Hematite and Chalcopyrite had a vibration that engaged with energies of the first or 'base' chakra only and their two types of energy had a similar strength. We arrived at a conclusion that each chakra can only engage with mineral energies of similar strengths of vibration. This is why the energy of Hematite will not engage with any other chakra but the base.
So what happens when the energy of a crystal is brought into contact with an 'appropriate chakra'?
Well, we firstly need a reason to connect them. The mineral energies don't actually engage with a chakra - but with those energy types that are within the channels that come through the chakra. These have a purpose; it might be that they are specific to the maintenance of the functions of a part of an organ like the process of digestion in the stomach for example; in which case Citrine is exactly appropriate. Another example might be Rhodocrosite, whose mineral energy is appropriate to the normal balanced functioning of a woman's' ovaries. Therefore it is a key mineral for use in resolving the energetic issues that go before the physical manifestation of fertility problems.
It soon became clear that there ought to be greater attention paid to the connection between minerals and organs, systems and functions of parts of the body than 'which chakra does this stone match'?
A curious subject that we explored was that of the Gem Elixirs. The practice of placing crystals in water for a while and then drinking the water has been around for a very long time. The theory behind it is that the crystals will 'charge' the water with their energy. We carried out some simple experiments. We took a piece of Rose Quartz and a placed it in a glass of water and Nat observed what would happen. Nothing occurred for about twenty seconds and then there seemed to be a 'mini energy explosion' in the water. The pink Rose Quartz energy suddenly grew three times its normal size! Nat became fascinated with this phenomenon and we tried it with various stones, all with the same result. We left the Rose Quartz in the glass of water for 24 hours and then removed it, the water did indeed carry a pink 'charge' of the mineral's energy; but it remained for only 36 hours and then it began to dissipate and eventually vanished altogether.
We then tried the same experiment with earth. We filled a pot with soil and put a quartz crystal deep into it. The same energetic effect happened. We then looked at the T-light candleholders made from minerals such as Rose Quartz and Amethyst, when the candle was lit inside them the same energetic effect would happen. We could see a pattern developing here with the four elements but we couldn't figure out why the crystals in 'Air' had 'less energy' that with Water, Earth and Fire. Then we tried moving air; the esoteric quality of Air is movement and moving air acted in the same way; if you blow on a crystal it will briefly create more mineral energy.
With these experiments we realized that there was definitely a link between how much energy comes from a crystal and the four elements and it took some time to solve the mystery of what was happening.
Nat had been looking at the subtle anatomy inside minerals for a long time and she had drawn images of all the different energetic structures they possessed. One of these was a strange looking three-dimensional 'propeller' shape with four 'petals'. Each petal was for each of the four elements, Air, Water, Fire and Earth - the basic building blocks of energetic life. By putting the mineral inside the medium of the four elements; we were saturating the mineral with that energy type and the 'Monad' had then no choice to increase the absorption of the other three elements to maintain harmony and balanced equilibrium. That was why there would be a sudden increase of mineral energy much greater than before. The conclusion we reached about Gem Elixirs is that they are a valid method of using crystal energies for healing but one should be certain the minerals used are non-toxic.
The deepest subtle examination Nat undertook was to study the energy centres and channels behind the chakra system. Many people are aware of Chakras but how many are aware of another energy system that lies with it in the same place but on a higher level? It was confusing at first to see so many different subtle energy channels, all with different colours; each performing their own function and they all entered the chakras but where did they go? What was on the 'other side'? This became a new frontier for exploration. We understood that there were connections between the body and chakras; there seemed to be some sense in a vitalised energy coding travelling to a cell in a particular part of an organ from the relevant chakra. However we still had to discover where this micro-thread originated and what gave it its vitalised current and programming.
We then found an extraordinary subtle structure, which we called the 'Psychic Energy Structure'. It is composed of seven energy centres arranged in the same location as the seven main chakras but with the addition of a constantly moving energy channel that travels in-between them going up and then returning again in-between them coming down. The whole structure then resembles a seven times helix pattern. The energy current that travels up and down the centres acts to 'charge' and vitalize the subtle energies with each of the centres. We called it Psychic Energy, but many people may know it by another name: Kundalini.
Each unique micro thread that travels to every cell in the body originates within the PES, it then travels through the Chakra system and out to the subtle counterpart of the cell.
All the subtle energies within these centres are associated to them relative to their frequency. Exoteric science measures and distinguishes energy by means of its strength and frequency of vibration; this is one of the foundations of understanding energy. It also applies to subtle energies too. Chakras engage with different energies relative to their strength of vibration whereas the PES engages with them relative to their frequency of vibration.
Every variety of mineral has its own unique type of subtle mineral energy and this too is subject to the same principle of strength and frequency of vibration.
The reason why a mineral can be associated to an organ of the body is because the specific human energies that maintain that organ are closely similar to the energy of that mineral. Therefore Citrine can be used to help bring the processes within the digestive system back into balance again because the strength of vibration of its mineral energy is closely similar to the subtle energies that maintain the processes of digestion.
We can now understand there can be a connection, but how does it change anything? Well, every type of mineral energy also carries with it a special agent that we called the 'Element of Harmony'. This is like a universal programming code to maintain balance and harmony. Where an organ might not function correctly, the stomach for example might have excessive acid, it is because the energies that maintain the processes of acid production have become miscoded. They are still giving a function to the system but it is partly incorrect, hence the symptoms develop. When the Element of Harmony is introduced through the medium of Citrine energy, it acts to begin reprogramming harmony back to the system and that is how minerals and stones can have therapeutic qualities.
