Many, many people the world over, take for granted the concept that chakras have fixed single colours. This concept is further repeated in books and taught in various courses and workshops in a wide variety of energetic healing subjects. Many people follow the perspective that the colours of the rainbow match the colours of the chakras. Added to this is the common belief that crystals and stones correspond to chakras by their colours and that chakras can be ‘balanced’ by an application of an ‘appropriately coloured’ crystal or mineral.

This controversy page highlights the difference between ‘conventional’ or traditional crystal healing thought and the conclusions we reached with our own research. Well, if chakras have fixed single colours – why do they have such?

Why would the Throat chakra be blue and blue only?

If it is blue – what makes it blue?

Our research into the subtle anatomy of man led us to the examination of chakras from an energetic perspective, we did not intend to conclude a controversial opinion about chakras – it just transpired through objective study.

We examined what actual energetic functions the chakras perform in mans system and defined that they allow passage (through themselves) of countless channels, sub channels, threads and micro-threads of subtle energies. They permit the organisation and transformation of these energies from inner levels to the organs, systems and sub-systems of the body and back from these – to inner levels of our reality. There is a lot more information – but it gets a little too complicated to explain here.We defined that these subtle energies themselves are composed of three basic types of energy in each chakra. The subtle energies that travel from the 4th chakra to the heart organ for example are different by comparison to those energies that go from the 4th chakra to the lungs. The differences are essentially due to a variation in their primary, constituent energies. Each of these subtle energies appears in a different colour to anyone with acute clairvoyance.

Now where someone has a health problem of some description, the subtle energies that attend the organ or system concerned will be significantly dominant in the relevant chakra. It is this that determines what colour it appears to possess. We have therefore concluded that chakras do in fact change colour depending upon what actual function the dominant (at the time) subtle energy is performing. This is a brief explanation why chakras do not have the seven fixed colours that so many people believe they have.

Chakras can not be unbalanced, or blocked – and therefore all those people that feel they can ‘balance’ or ‘clear’ a chakra – simply reflect their mis-education and misunderstanding. When people work on chakras – they don’t, instead they actually work on one or other of the subtle energies of chakras… that is where the real work is done. The chakra is only a door (albeit a complex one) to allow passage from and entrance to subtle energies for the body.

We have further defined that chakras have absolutely nothing to do with psychic faculties and levels of spiritual development of man. These qualities are actually correctly attributed to another energetic structure called the "Psychic Energy Structure". This lies in the same location as the chakras – even having seven energetic centres (called psy centres) in the same identical locations, but it exists on a different level of reality to the chakras system.

All energies can be determined as different from one another by their strength of vibration and their frequency of vibration. Subtle energies hold to this same rule. Therefore it would come as little surprise to discover that, in actual fact – chakras are associated to subtle energies by their strength of vibration and psy centres are associated to them by their frequency of vibration.

So, anyone that has believed that the brow chakra is responsible for the development of clairvoyance, has to some degree – not fully understood the actual energetic facts of the matter, as this inner faculty is entirely associated to the 6th psy centre and not the brow chakra at all. Polished Crystals & Minerals

In the early days of our research, we were puzzled to clairvoyantly observe some polished crystals (tumble stones) to have rays, and channels of subtle mineral energy extending from them and yet others to have either nothing or barely a cloud of energy around them. With deeper, more thorough research, we defined that some minerals can adapt to polishing processes while others can not, with many more in between the two poles. The reason why one mineral (when polished by man) undergoes profound damage to its energetic structure – while another mineral may quickly adapt – comes from a surprising corner; evolution.

We concluded that all minerals on Earth can be classified into seven different evolutionary groups. Each group of minerals can be understood to perform a very fixed evolutionary role in the preliminary organisation of life on Earth. It is a general rule that the lower evolutionary groups of minerals are not capable of overcoming any accelerated change to their structure and as a result they often display a marked restriction of mineral energy expression.

Not all minerals are negatively affected, a few are perfectly fine and adapt to change very rapidly. It is not a rule that all polished stones are unsuitable for use in crystal healing, but it is certainly a fact that many will no longer be as effective as they were before polishing. It is for this reason that we chose only to use the natural, rough and unpolished minerals in our further research; which led to the creation of the Crystal Energy Cards.

Chemical Treatment

We investigated various chemically treated minerals, including Calcite and the popular ‘Aqua Aura’ varieties of Quartz. We observed that the natural mineral energies of these stones display a extraordinary restriction of expression.The energies almost seemed ‘trapped’ within the mineral and were unable to leave their structures.

Calcite is commonly treated with hydrochloric acid before it is on sale in crystal shops to the public. This treatment gives the mineral an artificial coating of calcium hydroxide as a result and thus it feels waxy and slippery in the hand. This unnatural chemical process renders the mineral virtually useless for anyone wishing to employ its mineral energy for therapeutic benefit.

Aqua Aura, Opal Aura, Ruby Aura and all other such varieties of Quartz crystals treated with precious metals are similar by result. The natural mineral energy is almost locked inside the crystal and the process serves no benefit save for the aesthetic appeal that such crystals may have. They are at best, expensive, pretty crystals for jewellery and are of no value whatsoever in a therapeutic sense. We state this fact with an explanation – the mineral energy is restricted and cannot ‘move’ as it once did, therefore the therapeutic benefits are likewise extremely depleted. Both these minerals, Calcite and Quartz eventually recover, and almost to their original energetic condition; but the process takes years to complete.

Where other people might disagree with this point of view; we invite their explanation as to why such chemically treated minerals have any energetic benefit…

Extra Terrestrial Minerals

All Meteorites, Tektites and other minerals from space that fall upon our Earth are of no therapeutic value whatsoever. Therefore, Moldavite, the green, glass Tektite that is so frequently written of as providing esoteric links with Extraterrestrials can do nothing of the sort and any qualities that it may have are solely from the artificially created thoughtforms of its owner. Why? – Well, it is a complicated issue that requires a lot of evolutionary details about the subtle energies of our planet – and the energetic structure that such extraterrestrial minerals possess. This matter is fully explained in the book but it would be too deep to explain such details here on the site.

Cleansing

Perhaps one of the most challenging conclusions we reached with our research regards the subject of cleansing crystals and minerals. By cleansing, we specifically mean energetic cleansing and not the soap & water variety!

We found several factors. Firstly, that many people were inclined to simply believe that they needed to cleanse their new stones just because ‘it said so in a book’, or because ‘their friend said so’… Secondly, that many people would perform all sorts of rituals in their endeavour to ‘remove negative energies’ from their stones… Yet when they were asked what these ‘negative energies’ were - or why they would be there... no one seemed to be able to provide a reason.

We reached a very profound conclusion - that very, very few stones would ever require cleansing at all – because of subtle energetic laws about the association of thoughtforms with the different evolutionary structures of the minerals. We also defined that it didn’t matter which method was used to cleanse stones – because the principle key ingredient was always employed – thought. The whole subject of cleansing is only about thoughtforms. There never is, can not be and never will be ‘negative energies’ in, on - or around any crystal that necessitate it being ‘cleansed’. There are, however, human thoughtforms. Whether good or bad, these thoughtforms are 99.9% of the time, negligible and barely alive; because (fortunately) very, very few people know how to create powerful thoughtforms and attach them to minerals.

The subject of cleansing is riddled with false beliefs, blind assumptions and ignorance. It is something that can be very simply understood, when the (hidden) energetic reality is observed. If you could see exactly what was going on... you would realise how really simple it all is, and how absurd it is to think that every crystal needs cleansing; even regular cleansing with some people’s beliefs!
